Hi Cuties!
April is jam-packed with important ass transits. With a Mercury retrograde, solar eclipse AND Jupiter conjunct Uranus…expect the unexpected (annoying, I know). Leave room for things to flow. I would not be to set on plans this month, which I know is a hard thing to say to a business owner. Things could look drastically different come May, so plan, but plan with flexibility.
A couple notes:
Business Owners: This astrology forecast is geared towards small business owners. It speaks to the energy of the collective. It may impact your personal chart differently, however, a majority of folks will be experiencing this energy so it helps to know since we are doing business with the collective. Mercury Retrograde in Aries
April 1st - 25th
From April 1st to April 25th, Mercury is in Retrograde. This gets a lot of talk online as it can bring disruption in transportation, communication, processing and thinking. Files/digital things may go missing or we forgot where we put them. Social media posts may get deleted or misconstrued. We or our team could get lost, run late, or into traffic collisions (yikes!). I would set up backup plans + set high expectations for communications. Avoid going off of assumptions.
However, this is all happening in Aries, which does give a bit more forward motion than your average mercury retrograde. Aries is about new beginnings, mercury retrograde is about reviewing, revisiting, reflecting - all the “RE” things. Both of these combined gives energy of 2nd chances. Maybe returning to a product/service that never launched, revisiting a past way of doing things, repurposing content, or reconnecting with someone/customers you’ve work with in the past.
Brand new clients/customers may not be ready to move forward just yet, but focusing on nurturing who you already have in your client or email list might forebear benefits.
Venus Enters Aries
April 4th - 27th
Brings spontaneity, enthusiasm, and directness into relationships + finances. With it happening during a retrograde, this is a superb time to revisit your financial goals or systems. Check in with those subscriptions, re-evaluate your expenses, maybe invest in that thing you have been thinking about for awhile.
Solar Eclipse in Aries
April 8th
This is the 2nd eclipse of this spring’s eclipse season. Solar eclipses are always new moons (like SUPER CHARGED), which symbolize new beginnings. Aries also rules new beginnings, so be prepared for potentially drastic new beginnings than your average monthly new moon. Eclipse season offers chaotic energy that often brings about impactful change, even if it takes awhile to see the benefits of that change. Eclipses involve the moon, so people will be more emotional. It’s best to leave room for following your feelings during this time. Allow yourself to change plans if you feel like it. Go with the flow as much as you can.
It’s closely conjunct to Mercury, which means there will be a taste of change in the way we communicate + think. See what comes up and be open to what comes your way as it could provide solutions in unexpected ways.
Mars conjunct Saturn
April 10th
This happens just about every other year. This transit can be about asserting ourselves in practical ways, which can be frustrating because practical isn’t always exciting or inspiring. Saturn often brings some sort of restrictive energy and showcase limitations, which can lead to frustrations and isolation. Mars plays on how we assert ourselves + there’s some aggression there, too. Together, they can cause intense feelings of frustration because one wants to move forward and the other is holding back.
However, channeling that energy into pragmatic tasks or projects can minimize the irritation and intense emotions. This is a great time to hunker down and get some not so desirable tasks done. Maybe admin tasks, finishing (or starting!) tax filings, redundant tasks, etc. Saturn is hardworking, so utilize this time to get something kinda boring done.
These 2 meet up in Pisces, which isn’t so familiar with boundaries. Set expectations for yourself. Take initiative if things aren’t working. Don’t take the escape route that Pisces loves to offer. There is a bit of creative energy when it comes to problem solving with this transit.
Venus conjunct North Node
April 10th
This is a time when your creativity is heightened and has the opportunity to be aligned with your purpose. Take some time to create something through playing and see what comes about. Folks are attuned to beauty + harmony. If you have an artistic business, people will be more so ready to receive your art.
Promising business relationships may form around this time. This is a time when we can gain a lot from those around us.
Mars sextile Jupiter
April 19th
This is a fantastic energy for starting new projects. Things started now have the opportunity to be successful, thanks to fortunate Jupiter. Because we are still in mercury retrograde, I would advise against launch brand new products. But maybe starting with the brainstorm stage OR going further than that if we are revisiting a project from the past that never got finished. We have more physical energy with this transit and might have new insight that will bring the project to where it needs to go.
Sun enters Taurus
April 19th
Taurus is the fixed earth sign. It’s steady, it’s grounded, it’s determined and it rules money, food and material goods. We are motivated by our material comfort so we might get a boost of energy towards our business or whatever brings us income. Taurus is ruled by Venus, and she likes nice things. And nice things often take work to get. Enjoy a nice meal, maybe buy something new + of good quality if you can. Be wary of overindulging, which is more likely with Taurus energy.
Jupiter conjunct Uranus
April 20th
This is a big deal! They are exactly conjunct on April 20th, but we will be feeling this all month and into May. This is happening in the sign of Taurus, which represents materialistic goods (food, money, etc) and stability. This transit happens once every 13-14 years or so, sometimes 2-3 times within a 2 year span depending on the retrogrades. This time around, we will only get one, with the next connect being in 2037.
Uranus rules disruption, the future, liberation and technology. Jupiter rules growth, prosperity, optimism, generosity and justice. It’s often referred to as the great benefic, bring good fortune with it wherever it goes.
These two coming together in the sign of Taurus gives the energy of disruptive changes that could bring expansiveness and growth to the collective. Because its happening with a lot of other Aries placements and just after the eclipse, I expect some sort of drastic change that brings a new beginning of some sort. Maybe something disruptive that brings us together, maybe something that brings justice to those who have been fighting for it. It could be not so joyful news that eventually brings us something better. Maybe none of these at all.
Looking at past Jupiter Uranus conjunctions, the1969 conjunction was the exact day humans touched down on the moon for the first time. In the conjunction of 1983, Israel, the US and Lebanon signed an agreement to withdraw Israel from Lebanon. In the conjunction of 2011, we saw the beginning of Egypt's revolution. There have been years where the conjunction bears no big news (that was reported, anyways).
I wouldn't be surprised if there was new advancements or discoveries in the space or technology realm, as that's ruled by Uranus. I would love to see more justice (Jupiter) and progressive (Uranus) movements for humanity.
Sun square Pluto
April 21
The good news of this transit is that we get a surge of energy to do harder things. However, there are power dynamics at play here. Be aware of how you are managing your team. Are you fostering environments that benefit your teammates? Or intimidating them? This can be a day of frustrations and feeling powerless, which can outlet into many different reactions. Folks may get defensive if they feel their belief systems are being questions. They may be less open minded on and around this day. If people seem closed off, give it some time before coming back. This is definitely not the day to be trying to convince people of your opinions. I would lay low this day and see how dynamics play out from this transit and the Jupiter Uranus conjunction.
Mars conjunct Neptune
April 28
Another day of triggers. Mars rules violence + aggression and Neptune brings anxiety. People may be acting in defense, aggression, and paranoia. The best advice for this day is to not take things personally. For example, people may leave nasty comments on your post. Don’t waste your energy defending yourself. Take a breath and come back to it another day. Things may also be a little confusing. We may take actions in the wrong direction because we can’t see the full picture.
It might be a better day to get some work done rather than putting yourself/business out there as your message might not be received how you intend it to be.
Mars Enters Aries
April 30th
Here through June 9th. Mars rules Aries so this is a wonderful placement. We are action-oriented and enthusiastic. The way we assert ourselves is direct. There's not patience for fluff. This forward moving energy is welcomed after a mercury retrograde, although we will still be in mercury shadow phase until May 13th.
