I pulled the tarot card the hanged man for the month of April and that it was. It was a moment of pause, surrender, and letting go to bring in new perspectives.
The astrology horoscope for May is so in alignment to go after a shake up month because it brings stability, long-term thinking and the practicality to help us get there.
The beginning of the month is all about slow and steady as we set new intentions that will bring us one step closer to our future desires. The end of the month starts to speed up as we get swaddled by Gemini energy. Gemini loves to move quickly, so take the time at the beginning of the month to get grounded.

May 6th
This is transit where your self expression and vitality are working in harmony with your sense of responsibility and discipline. If you’re creating something new, it’s going to be colored with a sense of integrity. People are going to be looking to make practical choices. This transit can signify potential achievement in your professional life or can be used to get there.
Business owners → Creating something, promoting yourself with integrity, promotions especially if your services/products bring stability + security.
Sun conjunct Uranus
May 13th
Our vitality + self expression comes together with our desire for progress, individuality and sudden change. We may feel a strengthened impulse for freedom or urge to break away from the norm, which can lead to innovative breakthroughs. Uranus also spark rebellion and liberation and the sun gives it energy during this transit. I hope this transit can be used to give power to the students protesting on campuses, however it can give an energy boost to everyone protesting right now.
Business owners → I would use this transit to try something new as it may bring you to a solution or approach you never thought of before. This transit also brings a sense of unpredictability, so be flexible on and a couple days around this day.
Venus sextile Saturn
May 13th
Another lovely transit that promotes concepts of stability and responsibility but this time more geared towards relationships, finances, our value systems, and sense of security. Folks may be taking a more practical approach to relationships, so it’s not exactly the most affectionate approach, but stability is intimate in a different way.
This is a great time to plan long term for your finances, as well as you may have a clearer vision of the future.
Business owners → There’s a sense of commitment and loyalty brought with this transit. If you have something to offer your loyal customers (i.e. 20% off), it may be received really well. Folks are also looking to invest their money in ways that make them feel secure + stable.
Mercury enters Taurus
May 15th - June 3rd
We will be talking about, thinking about and processing things in terms of money, material goods, stability, and aesthetic. There is (yet another) push towards practicality, especially in the way we are thinking and communicating. Taurus is a fixed sign, so there’s a bit more patience - stubbornness as well, too. We are thinking more for the long run, which balances out the fast, action taking we experience with mars in Aries.
Business owners → Food business, post those salivating photos - people will be ready to eat some good food. Beauty + fashion businesses, people are listening to you, too. Everybody else, don’t worry, focus on how your business brings value, quality and stability and people will be listening.
Mercury square Pluto
May 17th
Our mind, communication and thinking processes come into tension with our power dynamic, subconscious and transformative energies. It can bring about frustrations and tension that lead to transformation around our communication and thinking patterns. Pluto rules compulsions and obsession as well so be on the lookout for obsessive thinking. Pluto squares are generally always somewhat destabilizing. Because Mercury rules the mind, and part of the nervous system, we may be feeling it rather intensely. Digging deep into the triggers that pop up allow for the transformative energy Pluto has to offer.
Business owners → Use this energy to tap into what is/isn’t working with your communication strategies, whether it be email marketing, social media, team management, or your sales/discovery calls. This transit can bring sudden and unexpected changes when it comes to relationships, your value system and finances. You may feel a sudden shift in the way you feel about other people or things. Hello, getting the ick outta nowhere. These two planets come together in the sign of Taurus, bringing some groundedness and stability to these energies.
Business owners → I bring up most uranus transits for business owners because it’s a day of unexpectedness and business owners are often constantly making decisions about what’s working and what’s not. Let the energy of uranus transits ride out a few days before making big changes. They also bring up energy to try something new, which may bring innovative solutions or results. Lastly, it may bring up unexpected financial opportunities. Yip!
Sun enters Gemini
May 20th - June 20th
Gemini season! I freaking love Gemini season. It’s fun, it’s fast-paced and it brings us into summer. Gemini energy can multi-task and handle multiple interested at once because there is a heightened sense of curiosity. It’s also a pretty social sign and values diversity. Gemini is represented by the twins, which shows us both sides. One can expect a busier schedule, depending on where Gemini lands in your natal chart.
Business owners → Because Gemini is a mutable sign, it brings a heightened sense of adaptability. We may be more open to change. It is also ruled by communication royalty, Mercury. So with this, it might be a great time to capture new customers. You may be able to communicate you brand clearly and people may be ready for something new.
Venus conjunct Jupiter

This transit brings expansive growth, fortune and opportunities when it comes to relationships, finances, and the things we value and how we value them. This is often an abundant transit bringing love, joy and sometimes justice. Folks are feeling more generous, kind and optimistic. Great day for social events or creative projects.
Business owners → The collective will be vibing high, and so might you be! Put yourself out there in a way that shows your true value and care for others and it may be received rather well. It also sparks creative inspiration, so if it strikes, go with it!
Jupiter sextile Neptune
May 23rd
This is a beautiful transit for spiritual growth. Our intuition is heightened and we are ready to heal and grow. It’s also a lovely time to be giving back to others. Neptune is empathic and Jupiter is generous. Donate your time or monies to a cause (hello Operation Olive Branch).
Business owners → Be careful of idealist business plans or expectations. This transit, although harmonious, can make us feel like we can achieve anything. Which is awesome, but not if you can’t actually follow through once the influence of this transit slips away. Let those big ideas come to the forefront, but let them marinate for a couple of weeks before enacting on them.
Venus enters Gemini
May 25th - June 17th
Venus in Gemini gets things moving faster and on a more intellectual level when it comes to relationships, finances, beauty and our value systems. We may feel compelled to take quick actions towards out finances. I encourage you to take note of these things and sit with them a little during this transit. It’s okay to act on them, but just make sure you are acting out of alignment and not impulse.
A lovely transit for playfulness, flirtation and being a social butterfly. It also brings a sense of diversity into what we value and find beautiful.
Business owners → This is a love transit to focus on community building. People will be ready to connect with like-minded people. Also if you are thinking of any sort of rebrand or redevelop your marketing strategies/assets, now would be a supportive time to do so.
Jupiter enters Gemini
May 25th - June 9th, 2025
Oooo! Outer planet moving signs alert! Jupiter is the faster moving outer planet and takes about 1 year to move through a sign. Jupiter moves into Gemini where it will stay through June 9th, 2025. Jupiter transiting the sign of gemini brings expansion, growth, opportunity and optimism towards communication, intellect, curiosity, dual thinking (both/and), and social interaction.
Last time Jupiter was here was June 2012 - June 2013, where we saw the rise of social media, especially Instagram. IG came out in 2010 but I would say it started to skyrocket in 2012, especially once it came out with the Android version in 2012. We also saw a rise of social movements, particularly the Occupy Wall Street movement. I like this energy for social movements as it utilizes communications, networks, and adaptability. We are also more open to change, so some folks may be willing to expand their horizons and/or step outside of their comfort zones.
The pace will pick up a bit, as Taurus (where Jupiter has been since May 2023) is a slower, more steady speed. We learn a bit faster and are ready to get to an intellectual level. I hope this brings new opportunities and adaptability for society and the collective.
Business owners → This is a great year to up your social media or content marketing game. Also if you have been thinking about creating/releasing a course, people will be hungrier for knowledge. But please avoid the same routines we saw in 2012. People want something fresh when it comes to online courses. Meaning, don’t follow someone else’s playbook. Tap into your intuition and creativity to bring something of true value.
