September is a month that offers less harsh transits than August (thank goodness) AND it comes with eclipse season. Eclipse season could be a toss up. It often brings a touch of chaos and unpredictability, even for those of us that study astrology. But it's in the sign of Pisces, which bring emotions, compassion and empathy. It could bring letting go of things that allow us to grow spiritually, which makes sense to come after the reality check month of August.
Mars also gets watery as it moves into the sign of Cancer, asking us to find flow in our actions. All of this is supported through Virgo energy, which is focused on efficiency and getting organized.
September asks us to:
Get realigned with our true values
Feel into our emotions and let them be tools that help us understand.
Connect with others on a deep level.
Collaborate.
Find some level of balance and harmony in our relationships, mind and personal power.

Alright, let's dive into it.
Uranus Stations Retrograde
September 1st - January 1st
Uranus retrogrades every year and it gives us a chance to reflect on the ways in which we have progressed over the year.
Uranus in Taurus asks us to balance the desire for stability with the push for needed change. This retrograde is a time to reflect on how you and society have be able to achieve that balance.
It also brings a sense of revolutionizing material values and wealth. It would be ideal to reflect on how your ideology around money have changed this year or if they need to now.
Business Owners → This is an opportune time to look at your business values and how they align with your current practices. Have your drifted away from your mission just to stay afloat? No shame in that but now is a time to get intentional about how to get back to your values.
It’s also a good time to question whether your need for money has impacted your alignment with your values. It’s a necessary thing, of course, but now is a good time to sit with it and see if you can course correct without putting yourself at financial risk. Or risking it if you want to!
Pluto retrogrades back into Capricorn
September 1st - November 20th
Pluto retrogrades back into the sign of Capricorn for about three months before moving into Aquarius for good. This is the last time any one living now will experience Pluto in Capricorn.
Pluto rules transformations, power dynamics, and often hidden aspects. It can bring destruction in the name of creating something new. Like demo day in a home renovation (I say as I watch fixer upper).
Capricorn represents the systems, infrastructures and governments that rule our society. It also represents our internal structures and how we make sense of, process, and understand the world. It’s ruled by Saturn, which has a strong sense of right vs wrong.
Pluto retrograding back into the sign of Capricorn notes a revisiting of the structures and systems that we have started to unravel. The impacts of white supremacy and capitalism have come into the mainstream and we have started to question things.
Aquarius gives more of a humanistic and innovative energy. So I’d like to hope that over the next 20 years, we can start to bring progress into these structures we have picked apart since Pluto entered Capricorn in 2008.
These few months give us an opportunity to reflect on all those changes and remember our purpose for moving forward and creating something new.
Business Owners → Use this energy to continue to dive into your business structure. Are you perpetuating ideologies that you don’t actually align with but are just doing because you think that’s how business is run? How can you create a more fair + balanced business? To yourself, your team, and your customers.
Revisit your long term goals and ensure they align with your core values.
New Moon in Virgo
September 2nd
This gives a fresh start towards organization and efficiency. Virgo also rules your day to day routines, health & wellness. So it asks us to get organized while also prioritizing taking care of ourselves.
For business owners → focus on streamlining or organizing your operations. Now is the time when you may have more patience to get down to the details. Or if you’re overwhelmed, call me :)
It’s also a great time to make sure your creating a healthy work environment, whether you have a team or work by yourself.
For example, for a team, ensure there is clear paths for communication. For yourself, be sure to be reasonable with what you’re wanting to get done. If you need help, get it. Yes you might be able to do it yourself, but is that where you want to spend your time and energy?
Mars enters Cancer
September 4th - November 4th
Mars is about how we assert ourselves, our desires, and handle conflict. Cancer is about intuition, emotions, nurturing, and what feels like home.
We may be taking action based on our emotional needs. Mars becomes less aggressive in this
sign and more protective and nurturing.
We might see a focus shift towards family and home matters.
For business owners → Connect with your team and customers on an emotional level. Get a bit more personal and melt this into your business practices and strategies.
Also, protect your business! Insurance, cyber security, intellectual property, contracts, etc. If you have been putting these things on the back burner, now is a great time to bring them to the front.
Lastly, nurture your existing network.
Mercury enters Virgo (again)
September 8th - September 26th
Mercury was in Virgo before it turned retrograde, so this is the second time its landing here this year.
Mercury rules Virgo so it’s very comfortable here. Both appreciate the details.
For business owners → This is a time of practical and detailed communication, perfect for planning. Mercury in Virgo also offers an analytical mind, which can help figure out any snafus in the plan.
Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Pisces
September 17th
This full moon is going to be an emotional one. Full moons always bring our emotions for the forefront, pisces is very emotional and both of that is heightened with this being a lunar eclipse. We could be really driven by our emotions, making or experiencing sudden changes. The solar
eclipse is on October 2nd. The two weeks in between is known as eclipse season.
It COULD bring some intense spiritual shifts or enlightenment.
It’s happening just a few degrees away from Neptune, doubling down on the pisces energy. It will be a really important time to practice BOUNDARIES.
Happenes with a mercury opposite saturn, so we may feel a sense of restriction when it comes to communicating our needs. If that happens, notice it and get curious about why. Understanding the behavior gets you closer to figuring it out and making impactful change.
This full moon chart includes a tight mercury opposite saturn transit, which could limit mental clarity and bring delays or hardships in communication.
People may be feeling very sensitive right now, which also brings in a heightened sense of empathy.
For business owners → Eclipse season always brings somewhat of a chaotic energy (unexpectedness) so do what you can to stay flexible. Also, this is not the time for telling it like it is. It is the time to reflect, understand, and be present. Especially with the mercury opposite saturn transit, conversations could be a bit stifling.
If you want to channel this energy, you could work on a creative project that feels more-so intuitive for you. Writing, crafting, drawing, making music, etc.
It’s also an opportune time to get really intentional about your values and connecting them to your business strategies. That’s kind of a theme for this month. For small business owners, a business is an extension of you, so tap into ensuring your business lines up with you ethics and fulfills your deeper desires. Is your business offering you a pathway to showing up in the way you’d like to. If not, reflect on what little things you could change to get there.
Sun enters Libra
September 22nd - October 22nd
Libra energy brings a sense of balance, harmony, beauty and high quality. After the eclipse, this might start to stabilize things juuuust a little bit.
Libra season shines some light on our relationships as well.
For business owners → Libra season is an opportune time to start new collaborations. We are particularly more social and easy-going.
It’s also a nice time to look into your aesthetics, whether it be your branding, your product design, marketing materials, you might have a little bit more life force towards making these things even more beautiful. There’s an increase inn appreciation towards beauty as well, both from you and your audience.
Venus enters Scorpio
September 26th - October 17th
Let’s get it going with Scorpio season! Just when you thought things would chill out, we get a dose of intensity and depth. Hey, things could totally chill out AND be transformative….she says as she witch cackles.
Venus in scorpio gives a flavor of passion, depth, intensity, and transformation towards our relationships, finances, and value + beauty systems (who/what we value, self worth, etc).
People often forget scorpio is a WATER sign, so it brings the emotions, too. Hello, passion is a deep emotion. Whether we passionately hate something or passionately love it.
We are going to value deep connections around this time. We might not have patience for fluffy friendships or interactions.
For business owners → This brings a sense of magnetic charm. So long as you are getting REAL, people may be really drawn to what you are putting out. Get vulnerable with your audience to connect with them beyond the usual marketing jargon.
Scorpio is also rather provocative, so don’t be afraid to say something different. Maybe not something rude or in your face (we are still experience sensitive pisces lunar eclipse energies) but something that gets people thinking. Gets them to put grab their chins and say “huh, I never thought of that”.
This is continued energy to be looking DEEP into your business values. There is supportive energy to make big shifts towards what or how you’re offering your services/product.
Mercury enters Libra
September 26th - October 13th
Mercury in libra brings a sense of harmony, beauty, and diplomacy into our thinking patterns and communication. It may enhancing our abilities to view things from differing perspectives, continuing the energy for lovely collaborations.
This all gets supercharged with the energy and life force of the sun when the sun and mercury form a conjunction in libra on September 30th. We get a boost of mental and communicative clarity.
For business owners → It’s a great time for partnerships, negotiations, and balanced conversations. If you need to have a harder conversation with a collaborator or team member, this energy could give you a soft approach to doing so. Maybe you would like to build new relationships with suppliers and get a better deal.
